La Petite Ecole Hanoi
La Petite Ecole Hanoi (LPE Hanoi), created in 2022 and a member of the Odyssey Education group, welcomes children from nursery to kindergarten in a trilingual environment (French, English, Vietnamese).
La Petite Ecole Hanoi focuses on personal development, caring and cultural diversity, with over 27 nationalities represented. Accredited by the AEFE in 2024, it guarantees internationally recognised quality teaching, backed up by the rigorous recruitment of teachers. Its teaching approach, inspired by the Montessori, Reggio and Freinet methods, encourages active, personalised learning.
Located in the Tay Ho district, the school’s facilities are designed with the well-being and development of children in mind, including libraries, a motor skills room, school canteens and air quality management.
The school plans to extend its offer to elementary schools in the coming years, a testament to its dynamism.
School curriculum and programmes
Certified by the French Ministry of Education in 2024, La Petite Ecole Hanoi follows the French curriculum from nursery to kindergarten. The school is distinguished by its multilingual character, alternating days of teaching in French and English, with an introduction to Vietnamese. It uses innovative teaching approaches inspired by Montessori, Reggio and Freinet, for active, interdisciplinary learning.
- Nursary (Crèche): from 12 months old
- Kindergarten (Maternelle): from 3 to 5 years old
From 2025, the school will also offer a nursery option in English to meet the needs of its international families. This addition will further enrich the language offer and cultural openness for young children.
