Odyssey International Days 2025

A week of international celebrations

2025 Odyssey International Days

From 12 to 16 May 2025, the 13 schools in the Odyssey Education group, spread across 12 countries, will be celebrating Odyssey International Days together. This annual event, which has become a not-to-be-missed rendezvous for our school communities, celebrates the cultural, linguistic and human diversity that defines our group.

This year’s event, 2025, is built around an international project-based approach, with three major collective achievements: a collaborative international cookbook, a book of mathematical riddles written by the pupils, and a joint choreography around the globe.

A culinary trip around the world

From Hanoi to Casablanca, the pupils have got down to work to showcase their countries' culinary specialities by creating a collaborative recipe book: Banh Mi, Flemish-style meatballs, ostropel de pui cu mămăligă, kanom babin, flognarde... All week long, the canteen takes on the air of a gourmet world tour, with dishes from the book on the menu for the week. Some will even be shared at a convivial lunch with parents, who are invited to bring along specialities from their region!

Riddles to solve

Another unifying project is an Odyssey riddle booklet, with mathematical riddles and problems designed and written by the students themselves. Inspired by their daily lives and the French ‘Maths en Vie’ approach, these visual riddles are logical and creative challenges that will be solved throughout the week by pupils from all the schools.

A shared choreography

The final highlight will be a joint choreography danced by the students and filmed in each school. The screening of the final video will bring this week of Odyssey International Days 2025 to a close! Parents, teachers and children will have the pleasure of discovering the other students in the group through this dance experience.

Local events

In addition to these common unifying projects, each school organises the week in its own way, adding its own local flavour.

At l’Institut International Saint-Dominique de Rome, pupils are building a wall of kind words, reading stories in several languages and welcoming parents for a convivial breakfast. At La Petite Ecole Ho Chi Minh City, families can find out about the project by attending an open day, while at La Petite Ecole Singapour, the youngest pupils visit an exhibition on their city designed by their classmates.

At the Lycée Français International d’Anvers, an international arts day and an International Talent Show extend the celebrations into Saturday. At the Ecole Française Internationale de Skopje,, 16 May is marked by a major festive event with world cuisine stands, craft workshops, a photo exhibition and the official inauguration of the EFE Palmes plaque.

A strong and vibrant Odyssey spirit

Through these initiatives, Odyssey International Days fully embodies the Group's ambition: to provide each student with an excellent education, rooted in his or her culture of origin but open to the world. It's a great way of showing that, even when we're separated by thousands of miles, we can learn, create and celebrate together.
