La Petite Ecole Hanoi
A united community after Typhoon Yagi
A surge of solidarity in response to the emergency
In the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, the La Petite Ecole Hanoi community rallied together in a remarkable way to help the families affected by this disaster. Thanks to the outpouring of solidarity from families, pupils and our neighbours, we were able to quickly organise a collection of donations to support those most affected.
Essential donations for families in difficulty
In response to the urgent needs identified by HSCV (Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam), basic necessities such as rice, oil, school supplies and milk were collected thanks to your generosity. Many also contributed financially to ensure direct and rapid assistance to families in difficulty.
The donations enabled HSCV to distribute food, drinking water, hygiene kits and school supplies to families whose homes had been flooded. Your support has also brought invaluable comfort to children who have lost a parent or whose homes have been severely damaged.
Thanks to our community for its unwavering support
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the families, members of our community and friends of the school who took part in this collection. Thanks to your commitment, families cut off by the floods received help quickly and efficiently. The impact of your generosity is being felt far beyond our school, in the areas hardest hit. Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to these actions, large or small.
