Signature of a framework agreement between Odyssey and the AEFE.
Odyssey & AEFE
In the presence of Michel Miraillet, Director General of Globalization at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Luc Chatel, President of the Odyssey Group, and Olivier Brochet, Director of the AEFE, the Odyssey Group and the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) signed this morning, July 16, 2021, a groundbreaking framework agreement.
This agreement confirms the spirit of partnership that governs their relationship and their common desire to cooperate in the development of French education abroad.
This first framework agreement signed with a private education group is proof of the recognition and confidence that the AEFE has in the Odyssey network in their joint effort to promote French-style education throughout the world.
For its part, the Odyssey group is committed to actively contributing to the State’s strategy defined in the Plan for the Development of French Education Abroad, whether through the creation of new accredited schools or the development of existing accredited schools. Above all, Odyssey is committed to guaranteeing the highest standards of French education abroad and to highlighting its educational values, academic quality, and its state diplomas, which are unanimously recognized internationally.
On this occasion, Michel Miraillet, Luc Chatel and Olivier Brochet jointly praised the commitments of each in the growth strategy of the network of French schools abroad.
Luc Chatel recalled that “Odyssey was born of a simple idea: to make French education abroad shine through its academic excellence and to combine it with real multilingualism and a wide opening to the world. Alongside the historical actor/regulator, it is important that other actors emerge, in complementarity, in good understanding, in transparency, to make this French education shine with its values of excellence in the humanities, culture, sciences and for the development of students.
