This year\u2019s edition, focused on creativity, critical thinking and innovation in the age of artificial intelligence, invites students and teachers to examine the role of AI in our daily lives.<br \/>\nAcross the Odyssey Education group, from preschool to high school, classrooms have become spaces for dialogue, inquiry and analysis, laying the foundations for a thoughtful and informed digital culture.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Changer la classe de couleur du bouton en fonction de la couleur g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du bloc --><\/p>\n<div class=\"bloc_cta\" ><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bloctext bloctext--nocolor bloctext--haspattern\" id=\"bloc_6_11\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-4 col-xl-3 mb-1\">\n<h2><span>Debating from an early age<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-8 col-xl-9\">\n<div class=\"text pl-lg-4\">\n<p data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"1175\">From preschool onward, students learn to voice their first questions about the technologies that surround them. At <a href=\"https:\/\/efis.mk\/\"><strong>EFI Skopje<\/strong><\/a>, young learners took part in a <strong>guided and age-appropriate debate on \u201cintelligent machines\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 a playful way to introduce them to the difference between reality and imagination, and between human capabilities and automation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1470\">In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lpesingapore.com\/\"><strong>Singapore<\/strong><\/a>, first-grade students engaged in two <strong>philosophical workshops: \u201cWhat is a friend?\u201d and \u201cMy Robot Friend.\u201d<\/strong> Conducted in a <strong>bilingual format<\/strong>, these discussions encourage children to reflect on emotions, relationships, and what fundamentally distinguishes a machine from a human being.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bloctext bloctext--color1 bloctext--haspattern\" id=\"bloc_6_12\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-4 col-xl-3 mb-1\">\n<h2><span>Analyzing information<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-8 col-xl-9\">\n<div class=\"text pl-lg-4\">\n<p data-start=\"139\" data-end=\"213\">As students progress through their schooling, their critical eye sharpens.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"215\" data-end=\"601\">At <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/efis.mk\/\">EFI Skopje<\/a><\/strong>, the 4\u00e8me (8th grade) and 3\u00e8me (9th grade) explored <strong>misinformation<\/strong> through a series of analytical activities before meeting with their headmaster for a discussion on source reliability. At the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/institutsaintdominique.fr\/\">Institut International Saint-Dominique in Rome<\/a><\/strong>, CM1 students (4th graders) debated the <strong>role of AI in society<\/strong>, while CM2 students (5th graders) took part in a <strong>philosophical workshop<\/strong> dedicated to critical thinking in the digital age.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"946\">At <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eficasablanca.org\/\">EFI Casablanca<\/a><\/strong>, high school students in the HGGSP specialization met with journalist Hicham Houdaifa. This exchange allowed them to explore the role of <strong>investigative journalism<\/strong>, the risks of manipulation, and the importance of strong <strong>critical thinking skills<\/strong> in an environment where information circulates rapidly\u2014and often without filters.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"blocmedia blocmedia--textright blocmedia--nocolor\" id=\"bloc_2_13\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"slider\">\n<div id=\"slider-bloc_2_13\" class=\"flexslider flexslider--blocmedia loading\">\n<ul class=\"slides list-unstyled\">\n<li class=\"slider-li\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t     \t<a data-fancybox=\"rel-slider-bloc_2_13\" data-caption=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/odyssey.education\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/SLFM-2025-Odyssey-Education-EFI-Skopje-722x564.jpg\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/odyssey.education\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/SLFM-2025-Odyssey-Education-EFI-Skopje-722x564.jpg\" width=\"\" height=\"\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t     <\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-5 d-flex flex-column justify-content-center align-items-start mb-2 mb-md-0\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<h2><span>Learning to verify<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In several of our schools, students experimented with analyzing AI-generated images.<\/p>\n<p>In Bangkok, a \u201ctrue or false?\u201d game sparked discussion around the visual clues that reveal an artificial image. In Rome, students from CP to CE2 took part in the \u201clittle image detective\u201d workshop, designed to help them spot inconsistencies and develop healthy skepticism.<\/p>\n<p>This playful, hands-on approach makes the issues more tangible and helps students build essential reflexes: observe, compare, verify.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Changer la classe de couleur du bouton en fonction de la couleur g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du bloc --><\/p>\n<div class=\"bloc_cta\" ><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bloctext bloctext--color1 bloctext--haspattern\" id=\"bloc_6_14\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-4 col-xl-3 mb-1\">\n<h2><span>Expressing themselves and sharing<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-12 col-lg-8 col-xl-9\">\n<div class=\"text pl-lg-4\">\n<p data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"243\">Beyond classroom discussions, some schools chose to<strong> give their reflections a public dimension<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"245\" data-end=\"585\">At <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/efitirana.com\/\">EFI Tirana<\/a><\/strong>, primary and high school students collaborated on a 20-minute radio programme dedicated to the question: <em data-start=\"364\" data-end=\"439\">\u201cHow can we cultivate creativity and critical thinking in the age of AI?\u201d<\/em> This empowering experience helped students learn how to structure their ideas, develop arguments, and communicate effectively to a real audience.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"804\">At <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cifs.edu.ba\/\">CIF Sarajevo<\/a><\/strong>, preschool and kindergarten pupils <strong>discovered AI<\/strong> through short documentaries and imitation games.
